Christmas giving campaign

Yesterday we began a new sermon series, Made Family, along with our Christmas Giving Campaign. This series focuses on finding ourselves perfectly placed in an epic story of grace because Jesus makes us family and this year’s giving campaign focuses on the growing needs of our church family.

During this giving initiative, our prayer is that God would give us $35,000 over and above our regular tithes and offerings to help us start off 2022 strong!

God has grown our congregation through people meeting Jesus, couples having babies, and gospel partnerships around the world. As Jesus continues to invite us into his mission, we trust that he will graciously provide the means to do it through his people.

God has called his children to give cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances as part of our worship as we participate in what he is doing. We would like to invite you to join us in our Made Family giving campaign! Your gift will go towards helping us meet the increased needs of our church family in 2022:

CHURCH PLANTING MIDDLE EAST

There are millions upon millions of people who live in this part of the world with almost zero access to the gospel of Jesus and that is why we’ve decided to focus our overseas efforts on this region. Back in 2020, God opened up an opportunity for us to help plant a church in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Obviously, during the pandemic things halted as travel was restricted but, recently various travel restrictions were lifted and Redeemer Fellowship is set to launch soon! The first $6,000 of this year’s giving initiative will go directly to this church plant.

MINISTRY UPGRADES AND EXPANSION

With The Well Kids growing and other ministry needs increasing, it’s time for an upgrade on technology and ministry equipment in order to expand. We will be adding a minimum of three rooms to our kids’ ministry, and upgrading staff computers/video, equipment. The next $12,000 of this year’s giving initiative will go directly to these upgrades.

BUILD MEN AND FLOURISH WOMEN

Our men’s and women’s community groups started out as an experiment during the pandemic and we have found them to be very helpful. We’ve heard various testimonies of what God is doing among these groups such as, “these are the best groups we’ve ever had at The Well.” In order to continue these groups, we need childcare. This has become very important, especially for our single moms. Our goal is to fund the entire year’s worth of childcare during our giving initiative. This means that the next $7,000 of this year’s giving initiative will go toward childcare services for Build Men & Flourish Women.

CONTENT PUBLICATION

We love Jesus and preaching the Bible, and in order to expand the impact of our preaching ministry, our content team published a five-volume daily devotional journal set. Included in this were Pastor Al’s personal study notes. This became an incredibly formative tool for helping others know God’s word. Additionally, throughout this year we had requests from military personnel in Korea and NCAA sports programs who have started their own group studies through Genesis and we’ve been able to bless them with free devotionals. We love helping others know God’s word and we believe that this year is just the beginning for us in content publication. The last $10,000 of this year’s giving initiative will to funding the publication of more content to go alongside this next year’s sermons series’.

All of this totals to our goal of $35,000. In order to reach this goal, it will require sacrificial giving that is over and above regular giving. We are asking you to pray and seek God on how specifically he is leading you to give in this season. You can partner with us in what God is going to do this year in and through The Well Community Church by giving a tax-deductible donation to our Made Family giving campaign using one of these methods:
