THE GOSPEL OF JOHN SERIES
Since November 23rd we’ve been counting down the last 40 days of 2018 in prayer. We’ve encouraged everyone to join together in prayer over the key initiatives we have planned in 2019. We are incredibly grateful for all those who’ve prayed both in our church, and beyond.
We want our hearts and minds to be in tune with what the Spirit of God is already doing in our city, and join in with great passion and zeal. Our hope and prayer is that in 2019 we would be mightily helped by the Lord, and by His power reach more people than we could even ask or imagine with the gospel of Jesus!
Starting January 6th we will begin a 42 week study through the gospel of John. John says that the purpose of his gospel is that people would put their faith in Jesus. From day one this has been our top priority at The Well. We love to make much of Jesus and we love it when people trust and obey Jesus. Throughout our study of John we are praying that this will be a great opportunity for many people in our city to come to meet and know the Jesus of the Bible.
John 20:30-31
30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
Help us start 2019 off strong by praying that…
There would be great excitement and awe as we gather to worship corporately each Sunday.
We would be generous like Jesus with our time, talent, and treasure.
Each of our Community Groups would multiply in 2019.
We would live as missionaries in our daily lives.
Hundreds of people would come to know and love Jesus through The Well in 2019.
God would provide the resources needed to reach our year-end giving goal.
