PRAY we stay close to jesus

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” — John 15:7-8

As Christians, we are called to stay close to Jesus. This is the essence of what it means to abide—to remain in Him. When we do this, we produce fruit. Just as a branch must stay connected to the vine to produce fruit, so must the Christian stay close to Jesus.

Fruitfulness is the Father’s design. He is glorified when we bear much fruit. Today, let us pray that we stay close to Jesus and produce fruit as His disciples.

• Pray that you would abide in Jesus today.

• Pray that the Father would be glorified in your life.

• Pray that you would produce much fruit.

• Pray for our church in all these areas.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, keep us near you. May we abide and remain close to you all the days of our lives. When we stray, draw us back to You. Be glorified in our lives and in our church, O Lord! Make Your name great among us, and produce much fruit in our lives.
