PRAY FOR vitality in marriages

“Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” — Ephesians 5:25

“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.” — Ephesians 5:22

Satan doesn’t appear in the Bible until Adam and Eve were married and had a call on their lives. As we continue to Contend for the Future as a church family, it’s important to be aware of the enemy’s schemes to divide and disrupt Christian marriages with the goal of bringing defeat.

So today let’s pray:

• Pray against the enemies' attack on marriages.

• Pray for strength and wisdom of husbands to lead, love, and serve their wives.

• Pray that strength and wisdom for wives to joyfully submit and respect their husbands.

• Pray for provision for those who long to marry.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, we ask today for the protection over the marriages in our church family. We ask that you grant vitality in these marriages. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy. May you empower husbands to love their wives like Christ loves his church. And may you empower wives to joyfully submit to the leadership of their husbands as unto the Lord.
