PRAY FOR purity of heart & mind

“Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD?

And who shall stand in his holy place?

He who has clean hands and a pure heart,

who does not lift up his soul to what is false

and does not swear deceitfully.

He will receive blessing from the LORD

and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Such is the generation of those who seek him,

who seek the face of the God of Jacob.” — Psalm 24:3–6

“Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways.” — Psalm 119:37

May these scriptures be the cry of our heart today. May God grant us clean hands and a pure heart. May we turn our eyes from the worthless things that distract us, deceive us, and dilute our love for Christ and others. Pray fervently to the end for yourself, your family, and the members of our church family!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before you humbly, asking that you cleanse our hearts and mind, removing all impure thoughts. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, guiding our thoughts and desires towards what is pure and praiseworthy. Grant us the strength to resist temptation and to always choose the path that aligns with your will and ways. Grant us a renewed spirit and a heart of wisdom.
