PRAY for a building

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” — Matthew 6:25-26

Jesus makes it clear that God is a good Father who provides for the needs of His children. He emphasizes this point by describing the sufficiency of His provision for the birds, reminding us that we are far more valuable as image bearers of God.

As a church, we have been praying and patiently waiting for the Lord’s provision as we seek to acquire a permanent home. Will you join us today in asking God to provide the building and the means to purchase a new home for our growing church family?

Prayer

Father, You provide for the birds of the air in great sufficiency; will You now provide for us a building for our church family? As we wait for Your full provision, may we not be anxious or fret. Instead, may we seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that You will fulfill what You have promised—to provide.

Amen.
