PRAY FOR multiplication of disciples

“… multiply there, and do not decrease.” — Jeremiah 29:6

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” — Matthew 28:18–20

The multiplication of disciples is essential for Jesus’ church. Failure to multiply is a failure to fulfill the mission. Even in exile, God’s desire was for His people to multiply and not decrease in number. Churches should grow, disciples should be multiplied, and more churches should be planted. We have joined Jesus in His mission in our city to see city-wide transformation. Therefore, disciples must be made and multiplied.

Join us in prayer. Here are our goals between now and Easter:

• Double the number of Discipleship Groups

• Add three new Community Groups

• Have 60% of families participating in regular discipleship rhythms at home

Prayer

Lord Jesus, you have sent us to make disciples; may we not neglect our mission. We cannot accomplish this in our own strength or might. Empower us to fulfill your mission. Multiply our efforts as we seek to multiply disciples.
