PRAY we finish strong

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”— Hebrews 12:1–2

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.” — 1 Corinthians 9:24

This year has been one of the most exciting and fruitful seasons for our church. We have witnessed God’s faithfulness in every step, and His grace has strengthened us to run the race with endurance. As we look ahead, we are filled with great anticipation for what the Lord has in store for next year. Let’s finish this year strong. Let’s not grow weary or lose heart. Let’s press forward with bold faith, unwavering hope, and relentless focus on Jesus as we run to receive the prize he has set before us!

Today, we ask The Lord for endurance, for faith, for fixed eyes on Jesus. Please, join us in prayer that we finish the year strong.

Prayer

O Lord, this has been a full year of fruitful ministry! We have endured by your grace and power alone. We have walked through dark moments and experienced real pain, yet you have produced much fruit in our church. Keep our eyes fixed on you, Jesus, as we seek to finish the year strong. Grant us the strength, rest, and joy to celebrate all you have done this year.
