PRAY FOR our church leaders

“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.” — Hebrews 13:17

Today, we specifically pray for our church leaders and their families. God has called the elders and deacons of The Well to shepherd and sacrificially serve. For them to do their God ordained job’s well they need the presence, power, and wisdom of God.

Ephesians 4:11–13 tells us that God gave the church “apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God . . .”

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we lift up the leaders of our church along with their families. We ask that you fill them with your presence, power, and wisdom as they guide, protect, and equip the body of Christ. Strengthen them to lead with joy and perseverance, not with burden or weariness. Guard their hearts and minds from discouragement, and protect their families from spiritual attack. May they lead with integrity and model faithfulness. Help us as a congregation to honor, support, and pray for our leaders. Let their service be filled with joy, knowing that their labor in the Lord is not in vain.
