PRAY FOR a church home

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”

A New Testament church is not a building but a people with a mission. We belong to Jesus’ kingdom, we are citizens of heaven, we are a family — a household. While the church is not a building, we meet in them and we need one. A church building for us would serve as a home for our family and a hub for Jesus’ mission. We believe God is opening up an opportunity for us in 2025 to own our very own building. Will you join us in prayer to that end today? Pray that God would provide the building and the funding to obtain it.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, you have made us your family through the sin atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ our Lord. We love Jesus and his mission. We aim to contend for the cause of Christ in our city. Will you keep opening doors for us to obtain a church home of our own? Will you grant us the full provision of finances, resources, and wisdom to steward your call on our church in this city.
