PRAY FOR every member to make two disciples

“and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.’” — Luke 5:10

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” — Romans 10:14

As followers of Jesus, we are called to be "fishers of men," actively participating in Jesus’ mission to reconcile the world to himself. This mission is an invitation to walk alongside our heavenly Father as he saves, restores, and redeems lives. Like children joyfully accompanying their parents on errands, we are invited to experience the joy of being part of His work.

Pray for God to bring people into your life to disciple. Ask Him for boldness, love, and compassion to speak truth into their lives. Remember, God is already at work — pray “include me.”

Prayer

Father, include us in your mission. May we have eyes to see where you are working and a heart that willfully joins you. We ask that each member of our church family make at least two disciples this year. Bless our efforts, redeemer your people, and empower us with your Spirit. May there be a new wave of Jesus loving, Bible-believing Christians being poured out on our city this year!
