FISHES & LOAVES

“They said to him, ‘We have only five loaves here and two fish.’ And he said,

‘Bring them here to me.’ Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.” — Matthew 14:17-21

During our Contending For The Future Through Giving campaign, our goal is to raise $60,000 by the end of the year and $600,000 by Easter. As we trust God to provide, we ask you to participate. In Matthew 14, we see Jesus multiplied the fishes and loaves to provide for the people. We ask that you pray and consider what the Lord would have you offer that he might multiply it in our midst. Jesus is the hero of our story, he will provide. Let’s be faithful to bring forward our fishes and loves.

As you spend time in prayer today:

• Ask the Lord how he desires you to participate toward our End-of-Year goal.

• Pray for the Lord’s provision in our church.

• Pray for full participation from our congregation.

• Pray that The Lord would bring others to participate.

• Pray for God’s miraculous multiplication.
