OUR HEAVENLY FATHER GIVES GOOD GIFTS
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” —Matthew 7:7-9
We believe God is opening up an opportunity for us in 2025 to own our very own building. While the church is not a building, we meet in them and we need one. A church building for us would serve as a home for our family and a hub for Jesus’ mission here in San Antonio. We estimate we need to raise around $600,000 in order to secure the facility we believe The Lord has for us.
Towards the end of last year, the elders and members of The Well sensed The Lord calling us to us as a congregation to bring forward a tithe of our estimated need. By God’s grace through the generosity of our church members we did just that. Now, in faith we are waiting for The Lord’s to fully fund, finalize and fulfill the acquisition of a new church home.
Praise God for how he provided through our congregation.
Ask God for a church building and the full amount of funding to acquire it.
Ask God for the faith to keep on mission while we wait for his provision.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, will you multiply our gifts and offerings? Thank you for the generosity of your people and the faith to bring forward our fishes and loaves. We ask for whatever it takes to fully fund and acquire the building you have for us. Keep us hoping and trusting confidently in you while we wait.
Amen.
