“Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”
— Jeremiah 29:12-13

There will be days that you don't feel like seeking The Lord, or you will feel far from God though you seek him. Anytime these feelings arise this year, be reminded that when we seek The Lord, it is never in vain. This truth anchors us in hope. While doubts and fears may arise, they lack power unless echoed by God's voice. God’s promises stand firm: God hears our prayers and has invited us confidently to seek Him.

May we be a people this year marked by confidently seeking The Lord. Daily running to him for our needs, casting our cares on him and being sustained.

• Ask God to remind us today how much he loves us.

• Seek The Lord with all your heart today!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we seek you with all our hearts today. May we be continually aware of the abundance of your grace and kindness toward us. Remind us throughout this year that whenever we seek you, our efforts are never in vain. Anchor us in this truth and fill us with confidence in you today!
