Two weeks ago was Launch Sunday for Symmetry Church, led by our friend Pastor Matt Prine, and we are still hearing stories of what God has been doing in the lives of His people in Bryan-College Station.
Symmetry Church exists to mirror the Kingdom and character of Christ in a lost and dying world. It is the kind of work that expands the footprint of the Kingdom and brings the light of Christ into new places. Some of you know Matt personally. Others may remember him from this past summer when he preached at The Well. We are grateful for his faithfulness, his clarity, and his commitment to planting a church rooted in God’s Word that points completely to Jesus.
So today, I want us to do two things.
First, celebrate that more territory is being taken for Jesus. Symmetry Church is a reminder that the gospel is still advancing and that Jesus is still building his church.
Second, we want to pray. We pray for continued provision, blessing, wisdom, and protection over Matt, his wife Cammy, and the entire Symmetry Church family as they step into this new work. May the Lord establish the work of their hands, and may Symmetry Church be a faithful witness to King Jesus.
