The Well's 2017 Christmas Giving Initiative

As a church, we are ramping up for a very strategic year of mobilizing people and resources to proclaim the excellencies of Jesus in multiple ways throughout our city. Our prayer is that many people will come to know intimately the God who created them, as we aim to proclaim the love of Jesus in the context of our everyday lives. 

100% of our Christmas Giving offering will go toward helping these initiatives and projects get off the ground:  

1) Diaconate Mercy Ministry 

In 2018, we will officially ordain our very first group of Deacons. The Diaconate Mercy Ministry will reach out to people in our congregation who are in crisis or in challenging circumstances and offer help in assessing their needs and working with them to find solutions.

2) Sunday Setup & Facility Needs

Our aim has always been to create an environment where people feel like they can belong to The Well, even if they do not agree or believe the same as we do. In 2018 we are aiming to upgrade and purchase equipment that will better assist us in creating an environment that is more hospitable and welcoming for guests as they attend on Sunday. 

In addition, we have immediate needs, and have anticipated various others that will arise periodically throughout the year that are associated with common wear and tear due to the nature of a set-up/tear down venue. 

3) Evening Service 

In the fall of 2018, we are planning to launch an evening service in another part of town to strategically create an environment to share Jesus with people who cannot attend church on a Sunday morning. 

We need $25,000 to launch these 3 initiatives. Reaching this goal will require sacrificial giving that is over and above regular giving. We are asking you to pray and seek God on how specifically he is leading you to give in this season.
