CHRISTMAS GIVING CAMPAIGN
Yesterday we began a new sermon series, King Of Kings, along with our year-end Christmas Giving Campaign. This series focuses on Jesus’ first coming; his birth, life, death, resurrection, and the eternal reign of his kingdom. During our Christmas giving initiative, our prayer is that God would give us $50,000 over and above our regular tithes and offerings to help us start off with the wind in our sails as we continue to preach Jesus and build his kingdom! No matter how much God has grown and matured our congregation over the years, Jesus continues to invite us into his mission. We see this as a great honor and privilege, but understand that it requires faith, obedience, and provision. We trust that he will graciously provide the means to do it through his people. God has called his people to give cheerfully and sacrificially of our finances as part of our worship as we participate in what he is doing. We would like to invite you to join us in our King Of Kings giving campaign! Your gift will go towards helping us meet the following needs of our church family:
FINISHING THE YEAR STRONG
God has always been faithful to provide for us as a church. We’ve seen him do so in a variety of different ways, and in each season he showed up in a unique way. For the first time ever, we had to dip deeper than we had initially desired into our reserves this year. In doing so, we've been able to continue ministering to hurting families, teen mothers, and lots of children. So, this year, the first $20,000 of our giving campaign will allow us to get caught up on all our budget needs, make sure our mercy ministry funds are secure, and allow us to finish the year strong!
CHURCH PLANTING
As a church, we are committed to planting churches and helping others plant churches. Over the past few years, we’ve been able to help support the start of a new church in Kuwait City, Kuwait, as well as other church planting efforts in our city and around the nation. The next $10,000 of this year’s giving initiative will go directly towards these church planting efforts.
NEXT YEAR’S BUDGET & SAVINGS
We believe it’s time for us to start looking for other worship space options. We are not in a rush but are prayerfully waiting on The Lord. However, we believe it would best serve our congregation to be able to worship on Sunday mornings, rather than in the evenings. So, we are asking God to provide an additional $20,000 above and beyond our needs to expand our budget capacity and increase our savings as we look for what’s next for our church family.
All of this totals our goal of $50,000. In order to reach this goal, it will require sacrificial giving that is over and above regular giving. We are asking you to pray and seek God on how specifically he is leading you to give in this season.
