SERIES OVERVIEW

We tend use sex as an object of worship rather than a gift from God to be enjoyed in the way he designed it to be. Sadly, we’ve allowed women and children to be sacrificed as objects of worship at the altar of our god — sex.  1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before they turn 18 years old. Meanwhile, “mom,” and “step sister” topped the charts in 2017 as some of the most searched terms on a popular porn site. Doesn’t sound like human flourishing does it?

As a culture, we’ve made a mess of sex and sexuality. Throughout our new series Sacred Romance we’ll be honest about the mess we find ourselves in and let Jesus restore what has been broken, comfort the wounded, and forgive what we think is unforgivable.
