WHAT YOU WILL NEED
For Men’s Training Day we train in a t-shirt and shorts. We recommend bringing sandals so you can slip them on and off easily as you step on or off the mats. Though Ohana has a water fountain available we also encourage you to bring something to drink.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Men’s Training Day is not an opportunity for inexperienced or experienced jiu jitsu athletes to show off what they saw on YouTube.
During our time together we hope that you’ll leave more equipped with some technical skills that you could use in real life. We spend time warming up, we’ll practice various technical skills, and then end training with several rounds of “live rolls” where you and another training partner can try and implement what was just taught to you.
After training, Pastor Al will give a short teaching from God’s Word.
